TouchPlus X-Trim

When Apple and Samsung launched their Edge-to-Edge Screen smart phones, it was hailed as another milestone in mobile device innovation. General Touch debut its TouchPlus® X-Trim Pcap Touchscreen at the G2E Show Las Vegas in October 2019 that presented a 98.2% full screen.  Expectantly, the response and interest from all the visitors was rather overwhelming. To achieve such a full screen effect, General Touch has shrunk the border width to less than 3mm, thus achieving a seemingly edge-to-edge screen. For the touch technology vertical market, General Touch once again has elevated touch display solution to a whole new level.

Now users can enjoy a more immersive experience when ‘playing’ with a 10 to 85 inch General Touch’s TouchPlus® X-Trim Pcap touch displays. Vendors can now design and deploy exuberant touch displays with the virtual removal of those thick black borders that usually characterize Pcap touchscreens to date. Soon, true-flat touch displays with super narrow borders will adorn kiosks and slots everywhere.  Kiosks and cabinets that utilize the floating mount for their touch displays will experience another new high in alluring users to their contraptions.

General Touch is profoundly gratified by the genuine and excited response from all who have viewed its TouchPlus® X-Trim at the G2E Show. The aesthetic ramifications of General Touch’s extra-trimmed (X-Trim) Pcap touch monitors is inspiring enough to drive many designers back to the drawing board to conceptualize the next generation of sleek touch displays.
